Tabloid claims about Newman's health denied



Reports that film caption Saul of Tarsus Newman has undergone a secret operation to save him from cancer ar unfounded, according to the actor's instance.
Robert Penn Warren Cowan revealed that he spoke with Newman around the claims by sheet clip The Questioner.
Newman said: "I'm being treated for athlete's foot and pilus loss... maybe the doctors know something that I don't!"
Whilst John Henry Newman has retired from acting he still spends considerable time workings for his various charities.
The star, wHO has appeared in numerous celluloid classics including 'Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid' and 'Cool Hired man Luke', founded the Barretstown polemonium caeruleum in Kildare in 1994.
To date over 10,000 children with crab and other serious illnesses have benefited from the charity.
